How was my skin today?
Still worse than I would like with problems on my back and neck. Not really sure why but could be worse.
How was my picking/attitude to my skin?
I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all when out running the Bewl 15. Alwaysn ice to be among friends who no me for who I am and don’t judge me on my appearance.
I was tired in the afternoon. A bit lazy and did pick a little, but not much, still need to introduce processes, like I have with my running that will help my picking.
Was my diet good?
Yes. I ate one Lentil crisp which came with my goodie bag after the race. It was really disgusting.
What were the highlights of the day?
The Bewl 15. It was very tough but I did it. I treated it as a training run as planned. I had to walk briefly on 2 occasions up steep hills but they came near the end of the race so I wasn’t disappointed in myself.
Trail running isn’t really my thing. As stunning as some of the views are I like to focus on my running, being mindful with my body, how it feels and the speed I’m running. Trail running where it is bumpy under foot makes that difficult.
What was I grateful for today?
My fitness. 15 miles is my 2nd longest race ever. I need to be proud of this achievement.
