I’m realising today the importance of sleep when it comes to skin care. I was up at 6.30am this morning to get a run in before volunteering at parkrun. With my dickhead neighbours playing their music load and talking even loader it was well after midnight before I nodded off.
I’ve always been someone that needs their sleep. If I don’t get my 8 hours I soon struggle and that became evident later in the day as my skin started to protest.
But it’s not terrible and just Friday morning I remember waking up and thinking “shit my skin is as good now as it’s been before my problems started”. I feel the laser treatment may be having a small effect for the first time as some of my pores appear to be shrinking.
Anyhow try to get enough sleep to look after your skin. It’s important. Very important in fact.
